The Cincinnati Reds and Fox Sports Ohio have hired John Sadak as the newest member of the television broadcast team as their new play-by-play announcer. The job was open after Thom Brennaman was caught using a slur on the MLB.tv broadcast when he believed he was not on the air last season.

New to Cincinnati, Sadak most recently served as a national TV play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports, a national radio play-by-play announcer for Westwood One and as a radio play-by-play announcer for the New York Mets on WCBS 880.
