Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto, who befriended Walter "SuperBubz" Herbert before he died of cancer in 2017 at age 6, offers his congratulations to the Herbert family on the birth last month of their son in a video Emily Herbert shared on Facebook.
"Hey, Emily and the Herbert family. I want to say congratulations on your new baby boy, Weston," Votto said in the video. "I was sent a very, very cool picture of him with his date of birth and he’s in a little 'SuperBubz' shirt. Anyways, I just wanted to wish you congratulations.
