DENVER – After swinging and missing at a pair of pitches in the sixth inning Sunday, Reds left fielder Jesse Winker had a pained look on his face and he took a couple of steps out of the batter’s box.
Reds manager David Bell and trainer Steve Baumann walked onto the field to chat with Winker, who took off his helmet and appeared to signal an injury to the left side of his body.
