In a battle of stud pitchers, the Cincinnati Reds' Luis Castillo was the first to blink. The New York Mets' Jacob deGrom didn't.
Castillo blinked twice, in fact, and then the Reds' bullpen faltered in the late innings as the Mets sunk the Reds, 8-1, with three home runs and a heap of late insurance. A crowd of 20,576 attended at Great American Ball Park as the Reds fell to 72-82 in 2019.
