MILWAUKEE – As much as the Reds boosted their confidence with a three-game sweep against the Houston Astros earlier this week, they proved their pitching staff could match up against one of the top rotations in baseball.

Reds starters Luis Castillo, Anthony DeSclafani and Tyler Mahle allowed a combined five runs in 18 u2153 innings. The bullpen played a large role in three straight one-run victories.

The collective group of pitchers have shown that level of consistency throughout the entire season.
