It was a day or two after the low point in Michael Lorenzen’s season when he noticed a change in his bullpen session.
He started to feel like himself again with a mechanical tweak. His pitches moved like his pitches usually did. Even when he missed the strike zone with his changeup, the pitch was below the zone like normal.
When teammate Amir Garrett sent him a text message of support, Lorenzen felt like he was on the right path to turning his season around.
