'I don't think it's a trend': Cincinnati Reds lead the Major Leagues with 16 ejections

When Nick Senzel was ejected after a fourth-inning strikeout Sunday, it was the 16th time a Reds player, manager or coach was ejected from a game this season. Those 16 ejections are the most in the Majors.

Senzel was frustrated after a called strike on the second pitch of his nine-pitch at-bat. The discussion between Senzel and home-plate umpire Bill Miller continued between innings before Senzel heard some words he didn’t like and became more animated, which led to his ejection.
