How the Cincinnati Reds are developing prospects without any minor league games

There are no minor league games this summer, but the Cincinnati Reds are working to make sure that it’s not a wasted year of development for their prospects.

There are weekly Zoom chats with minor league coordinators. Minor league players are split into smaller groups, so they can have one-on-one chats with a manager, hitting coach or pitching coach. Players communicate regularly with the health and performance staff, which ranges from strength and conditioning coaches to a nutritionist.
