Fox Sports Ohio, which airs Cincinnati Reds games, was pulled from Dish Network and Sling TV at noon Friday because of a contract dispute, along with 20 more Fox Sports regional networks.
Dish’s contract to carry the regional sports networks ended Sunday night, according to the Sports Business Journal, but both sides agreed to extend the contract to Friday to continue negotiations. Those negotiations have apparently stalled.
Sports Business Journal reporter John Ourand reported “no progress was made during the interim time period, leading the Fox group to deauthorize the satellite provider from carrying the channels.
