Over a decade after former Cincinnati Reds third baseman Scott Rolen showed a young Reds team the importance of aggressive base running, the Hall of Famer’s message still resonates in the Reds’ clubhouse.
The Reds have been the best base running team in baseball this year. Rolen, who was inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday, has had a role in that success.
