The Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers pulled off blockbuster trade this past offseason that sent former first-round pick Gavin Lux to the Queen City while outfield prospect Mike Sirota was shipped out to LA. But the Dodgers also received the Reds' Competitive Balance pick in the 2025 MLB Draft, and selected outfielder Charles Davalan with the 41st pick on Sunday night. The Dodgers' selection of Davalan puts the final bow on the Lux trade from this past offseason.
Originally from Canada, Davalan spent the 2024 season with Florida Gulf Coast before transferring to the University of Arkansas last season.
