"if it does anything for him [mentally], terrific," Reds manager Brian Price said prior to the game. "He's a little out of character right now swinging at pitches that aren't really good pitches to hit early in the at-bat. That would suggest that he's pressing. There's nobody here who wants to be accountable for what he does more than Todd.
"He plays a big role in our offense and every now and again he just tries to do too much."
