Former Reds announcer Thom Brennaman will be back behind the microphone soon in Greater Cincinnati. This time, he'll be calling high school events via Chatterbox Sports.
The subscription-based service made the announcement Tuesday evening via Twitter. Chatterbox Sports broadcasts numerous high school events and also offers podcasts. Recently new University of Cincinnati basketball coach Wes Miller, UC women's basketball coach Michele Clark-Heard and former UC quarterback Tony Pike have been featured guests.
Brennaman appeared at the end of the announcement.
"I'm so grateful and excited," Brennaman said. "I grew up here in Greater Cincinnati.
