There wasn’t much from the offense on Friday for Louisville, but it was enough in their extra-innings victory. Somebody named Asher “name so good he doesn’t need a nickname” Wojciechowski started and was brilliant. He lasted 5.2 innings, giving up only 1 hit, no runs, while walking only 1 and striking out 7. Phil “Phlervin” Ervin returned from his call-up and went 2 for 4, smacking the game-winning solo dinger in the 10th. Dilson “Vlasic” Herrera was also 2 for 4. Nick “Church of” Christiani, who apparently is still a thing, pitched 1.
