Louisville came up short in a 13-inning affair on Wednesday night. Cody “Eez Nuts” Reed got the start and, if you ignore the fact that he walked 5 batters, pitched pretty well. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits with 6 strikeouts over 5 innings of work. Just ignore that “BB” line on the box score, it doesn’t really matter anyways. Hernan “The Barbarian” Iribarren was 2 for 5 with a 2-run dinger, Zach “Cincy” Vincej was 2 for 4 with a walk and scored a run, and Phil “Phlervin” Ervin reached base thrice by going 1 for 3 with 2 walks.
