Carson Spiers - 6 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K - Dayton got themselves in a mighty hole when top prospect Lyon Richardson didn’t have his best stuff. I don’t know who this Spiers guy is but he is the one that did everything he could to keep Dayton in it so they could make their big comeback.
“O” Riley O’Brien was masterful in his start for the Bats last evening outside of the two hits he allowed which were both dingers. O’Brien allowed only those two runs while walking two and striking out eight.
