Things started off rough for Louisville, as a 3-run first inning would ultimately be enough to bring them down in a 6-1 loss to Columbus. Rob “Rick Flair” Woooooooooten got the start and did not last long. He went only 1 inning, giving up 3 earned runs on 6 hits with no walks and 1 strikeout. “Double” Barrett Astin came on in relief and went 4.2 innings, also giving up 3 runs on 7 hits with no walks and 2 strikeouts. The Bats were lacking in the offensive department again on Monday. Brandon Dixon was 2 for 3 with a walk, Jesse Winker “Hardly knew her” was 1 for 3 with a walk, and Juan Perez was 1 for 4 with a RBI double.
