With the recent call-ups of Lucas Sims and Sal Romano, Louisville had to go with a bullpen game last night and it worked out pretty well. 6 Louisville pitchers combined to give up only 1 run on the evening. Eric Stout went 3 innings and allowed no runs and struck out 2. Justin “Things are” Grimm struck out 4 in 2 shutout innings. The star of the night was Alex “The Great” Blandino, who reached base 4 times, going 3 for 3 with a double, a walk, and a walk-off solo dinger.
