The Joe Nuxhall Memorial Honorary Star of the Game
Going into 2017, none of us thought that we’d be talking about Tim Adleman being the only consistent piece of the Cincinnati Reds’ starting rotation. But with injuries and less-than-stellar performances from our younger starting pitchers, that’s where we’re at this season. While his final line of 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 6 innings while walking and striking out 4 isn’t incredible, it was enough to keep the Reds in the game tonight. Unfortunately he wasn’t helped much on the offensive side of things and the Reds weren’t able to come out on top.
