The Reds have entered some bizarro, Twilight Zone world where they’ve created their own reality. It could be that five years down the road, when Chase Petty, Nick Lodolo, Hunter Greene and Brandon Williamson all make the all-star team, we will look back at this small moment in time and see nothing but brilliance.
Right now, we see Mike Minor acquired to replace Wade Miley, who was allowed to walk for nothing. Minor’s numbers last year weren’t even close to Miley’s, he makes $9 mil, Miley makes $10 mil, so the money’s almost a wash, and the Reds also included Amir Garrett in the deal.
