Big news breaking on this Wednesday morning, as the Reds have announced that Dick Williams will no longer be serving as President of Baseball Operations for the team.
Nick Krall will continue in his position as general manager.
The news comes as a surprise, although it seems as though it’s not as out of the blue as it seems. C. Trent Rosecrans has more information on the decision over at the Athletic, including the fact that Williams approached Bob Castellini in August about the possibility of moving on from the team at season’s end.
