The Cincinnati Reds have less than two weeks to make some last-minutes additions for a playoff push. Cincinnati dispatched of the New York Mets over the weekend, winning 2-of-3 and are just 2½ games out of the NL Wild Card chase with the Washington Nationals up next.
The Reds need some reinforcements if they hope to make it back to the postseason, and the Arizona Diamondbacks may provide exactly what Cincinnati is looking for at the MLB trade deadline. While the D-backs have won four straight games and have yet to commit to being sellers, they're 4½ games out of the playoff hunt and have several expiring contracts on the books.
