MIAMI – When Derek Dietrich steps to the plate for the first time Monday, he expects a lot of noise from the fans sitting in section 31.
That’s the home of the self-proclaimed Dietrich Fan Club during his time with the Marlins. Many of them were wearing red “Let it Fly!” T-shirts before Monday’s series opener at Marlins Park. It was Dietrich’s first time playing in Miami since he designated for assignment in November.
