CINCINNATI - Two hours and 36 minutes after its scheduled start time, Jackie Robinson Day took place at Great American Ball Park between the Reds and Cardinals. Each player wore No. 42 in honor of Robinson, a video was shown and several "first pitches" celebrated the event.

Gamewise, it was more of the same for the Reds: a 3-2 loss with both runs coming on late solo homers by Billy Hamilton (eighth inning) and Adam Duvall (ninth).

After Duvall's blast, Tucker Barnhart had a bunt single and was awarded second on the overthrow.
