HOUSTON — Joey Votto’s yellow school bus is finally on its way to Great American Ball Park.
The only question is whether its prolific driver can drive this Cincinnati Reds team to even greater heights than they have achieved the last 3 1/2 weeks when he returns from a shoulder injury and into the lineup for the first time in more than 10 months.
That’s expected to happen Monday when the Reds open a weeklong homestand against the Colorado Rockies.
Is it even possible a team that has won five straight road series and 15 of 21 games overall (through Saturday) could get better?
