CHICAGO – When Tucker Barnhart takes the field Friday for the first day of Major League Baseball’s “Players’ Weekend,” he plans on wearing a pair of custom cleats.

The green and gold spikes stood out compared to others in his locker.

The cleats with flash red laces and a flash red stripe on the back are in honor of his young son and wife.
