Barry Larkin was selected as the grand marshal for the 2022 Findlay Market Opening Day Parade.
The 101st annual Opening Day Parade will begin at noon on April 12. The Reds will play their first home game of the season at 4 p.m. against the Cleveland Guardians.
The Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Guardians first played in 1997 in Interleague play. The matchup has been called "The Ohio Cup" and Cleveland leads the overall series. In the past, a trophy has been given to the winner of the series, but the teams tied 3-3 in 2021.
