Cincinnati Reds notes: Tyler Naquin 'playing inspired'; Jesse Winker sits again

PHILADELPHIA – It should have been a routine groundout to begin the fourth inning Friday. Tyler Naquin rolled over on a curveball from Zack Wheeler and busted down the first-base line.

Brad Miller, the Philadelphia Phillies first baseman, was indecisive on whether he wanted to try to toss the ground ball to Wheeler or race to the base himself. It turned into a race to the bag and Naquin won the race for an infield single.

Two batters later, the Cincinnati Reds had a 3-0 lead when Joey Votto homered to center field.
