To say the Cincinnati Reds outfield is in flux would be an understatement. With the front office claiming that they expect the team to compete in 2020, there’s little doubt that upgrades are coming. The Reds have been rumored to be interested in free agents Nicholas Castellanos and Marcell, but what about a trade?
If the season started today, the Reds starting outfield would likely be comprised of Jesse Winker, Nick Senzel and Aristides Aquino, with Phillip Ervin as the team’s fourth outfielder. The Reds also have Travis Jankowski, Scott Schebler, Jose Siri, Brian O’Grady and Josh VanMeter on the 40-man roster.
