Elon Musk is set to be the new owner of Twitter and now some Cincinnati Reds fans are hoping he'll make another big purchase.
After Twitter's board accepted Musk's $44 billion bid to buy the social media company on Monday, some Twitter users called on the Tesla CEO to buy the Reds from current owner Bob Castellini. The team is valued at $1.9 billion according to Forbes, landing it at No. 26 out of 30 on the publication's annual MLB valuations list.
"Hey, Elon Musk – once you buy Twitter, may I suggest your next 'too good to refuse' purchase offer: the Cincinnati Reds," one person wrote.
