Cincinnati Reds fan helps Tigers fan to feet, hands home run ball to girl

A gesture from one fan to another during Wednesday's matinee between the Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers at Great American Ball Park caught the attention of FOX Sports Ohio broadcasters Thom Brennaman and Jeff Brantley, as well as hundreds watching at home.

When the Tigers' Niko Goodrum hit a solo home run into the seats in right-center during the fourth inning, a fan wearing a Tigers shirt fell awkwardly onto his back on the steps in pursuit of the ball.

The fan wearing a Reds hat in front of him helped him to his feet, handed the home run ball to the girl with whom the Tigers fan was sitting and shook his hand.
