Cincinnati Reds falls to Kansas City Royals 4-3; Matt Harvey OK in his final start of the season

Veteran right-hander Matt Harvey made what was very likely his last start of the year and quite possibly his last start ever as a Cincinnati Red on Tuesday. He was OK: Five innings around a 51-minute rain delay and three runs allowed on six hits. He walked none and struck out five.

He kept his team in the game, as they say.

The Reds lost it 4-3 to the Kansas City Royals before a crowd of 13,172 at Great American Ball Park. Raisel Iglesias gave up a home run to Hunter Dozier in the ninth after the Reds loaded the bases with no outs in the eighth and failed to score.
