Cincinnati Reds enter rain delay for 2nd straight day in 3rd inning against Houston Astros

Update at 8:21 p.m: The Reds hope to resume Monday's game at 8:35 p.m. As the grounds crew began removing the tarp, Reds starter Luis Castillo walked to the bullpen with pitching coach Derek Johnson.

Castillo allowed one hit and one walk in his first three innings, striking out three.

Earlier version of the story: After playing 36 minutes in Monday's series opener at Great American Ball Park, the Cincinnati Reds and Houston Astros entered a rain delay with severe weather in the area.

The scoreless game was paused with one out in the bottom of the third inning as the grounds crew quickly unrolled the tarp over the infield.
