Cincinnati Reds-Detroit Tigers doubleheader scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m.

For the fourth time within the past week, the Cincinnati Reds will have a game delayed by rain.

Sunday's doubleheader against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park, which could be MLB's first doubleheader with seven-inning games, was once again delayed by rain. First pitch is now scheduled for 2:15 p.m.

Around 1:30 p.m., Tigers general manager Al Avila and assistant David Chadd walked into the left field. After they returned to the clubhouse, Detroit's grounds crew removed the tarp from the infield at 1:35 p.m.

The Tigers and Reds moved up Saturday's start time by five hours, from 6:10 p.
