The Cincinnati Reds and every other major league team will be limited during the upcoming MLB Draft. Major League Baseball made thee difficult decision to reduce the number of rounds from 40 to 5. Who on the Reds current roster were selected later than the fifth round in previous drafts?
The majority of players currently on the Reds roster have been historically higher draft choices. Joey Votto was taken in the second round of the 2002 MLB Draft. Nick Senzel and Jesse Winker are former first-round picks, as are Sonny Gray and Michael Lorenzen.
