Cincinnati Reds crush season-high five homers in win over the Arizona Diamondbacks

For a few minutes in the eighth inning, it looked like the Cincinnati Reds might not take advantage of one of their best offensive games of the season.

On Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Reds entered the eighth inning with a nine-run lead. After Arizona hit two homers, that lead was down to four runs in the bottom of the inning.

But on a day where the Reds hit a season-high five home runs, there was more to come from the offense. In front of a crowd of 11,512 at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday, the Reds beat the Diamondbacks, 14-8.
