Cincinnati Reds closer Raisel Iglesias feels more prepared to pitch in non-save situations

GOODYEAR, Arizona – During the first bullpen sessions of spring training, Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell tries to avoid putting much weight on what he’s watching.

It’s still early in the spring. Pitchers are trying to ease into camp. It’s the first time some of them have thrown with a big crowd around them since the end of last season.

One pitcher that caught his eye, though, during Saturday’s first workout was closer Raisel Iglesias.

“There are things that can stand out at times,” Bell said.
