Nick Senzel on his first start in center John Fay, Wochit
GOODYEAR, Ariz – The Reds want to see top prospect Nick Senzel in center field as much as they can during spring training, but Senzel missed his second straight game because of tightness in his left hamstring Wednesday.
Reds manager David Bell said he expects Senzel to return to games Thursday or Friday, but Senzel felt “a tiny bit of tightness" after playing five innings during Sunday's spring game.
Senzel was still expected to take batting practice at the Reds’ complex Wednesday prior to their game against the San Diego Padres.
