Cincinnati Reds blow lead in ninth inning, fall to Pittsburgh Pirates

The lights pretty much went out on the Cincinnati Reds season Sunday. The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Reds, 3-2, walk-off style in a game the Reds should have had.

Raisel Iglesias was trying to record the a five-out save. Josh Bell led off the Pittsburgh ninth with a single to center. Ke-Bryan Hayes followed with single to left. Cole Tucker singled to score Bell and tie the game. Hayes took third and Tucker took second on Nick Castellanos' throw home.

With pinch-hitter Kevin Newman at the plate, the Reds went with the six-man infield. Newman grounded back to Iglesias, and the Reds caught Hayes in a rundown.
