Cincinnati Reds battle Atlanta Braves seeking fourth straight series victory

On the heels of a successful homestand in which they won 4-of-6 games, the Cincinnati Reds (50-56) will face a stiff test in the form of the National League East division-leading Atlanta Braves. However, the team that takes the field at SunTrust Park Thursday night will look very different than the team that opened their previous series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Gone are fan favorites second baseman Scooter Gennett and outfielder Yasiel Puig. Adios to workhorse starting pitching Tanner Roark and say hello to former Cleveland Indian Trevor Bauer.
