The Cincinnati Reds have emerged as the "clear frontrunner" to sign free-agent outfielder Nicholas Castellanos, according to a report Sunday afternoon via Twitter from Jon Morosi of MLB Network and Fox Sports, and "there are signs that talks have progressed in recent days," according to Morosi.
Last week, MLB Network's Jon Heyman reported that the Reds - along with the Texas Rangers and others - were still "a player" for Castellanos.
