The Cincinnati Reds activated Mike Moustakas from the 10-day injured list and placed Nick Senzel on the IL without an injury designation in a series of roster moves Wednesday.
Moustakas was sidelined with a left quad strain. He hasn't played since Aug. 4.
The Reds added infielder Robel Garcia as the 29th play for Wednesday's doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals. Garcia was claimed off waivers from the Chicago Cubs on July 26.
Catcher Tyler Stephenson, infielders Alex Blandino and Christian Colón, and outfielder Mark Payton were added to the taxi squad. Garcia will be moved to the taxi squad after the doubleheader.
