Cincinnati rated No. 2 in TV markets for MLB All-Star Game viewership

Outside of San Diego, no television market watched the Major League Baseball All-Star Game more than Cincinnati.

With two National League starters – Nick Castellanos and Jesse Winker – the Cincinnati television market produced an 11.3 rating, according to a tweet from Fox Sports PR. San Diego had the largest viewership with a 12.2 rating.

It was the most-watched All-Star Game in Cincinnati since 2015 (22.8 rating) when the Midsummer Classic was hosted at Great American Ball Park. There was a 38% jump in viewership from the 2019 All-Star Game in Cleveland, according to Fox Sports PR.
