Tonight we give dap to those that are still Reds, for some reasons that may not be obvious to all of us.
Scooter Gennett was never going to be traded at the deadline, probably. But there were plenty of good arguments for why he should’ve been. His value will likely never be higher than it was then. He’s cooled off somewhat dramatically since (though he’s played very well over the last three), playing much more like the player he played like when he was released in Milwaukee.
Still, he’s been very good on the whole for the Reds.
