I never saw baseball like this. Pitches were coming like new James Patterson books. Sneeze, and you miss one.
I could not look away from the TV. Grab-it-and-go pitching was mesmerizing and jarring. I wasn’t sure I liked it at first.
Then I thought about all those years when I couldn’t keep my eyes on the screen. This is better.
This is what baseball needs. For better or worse.
