Roughly 24 hours from the Tuesday 4 p.m. non-waiver trade deadline, Cincinnati Reds President of Baseball Operations Dick Williams wasn’t overly optimistic that the team would make a move.
“We’re working on some stuff,” he said. “It’s still hard to handicap whether we’ll have some deals done by tomorrow. We’re working on a couple of different things.
