CHICAGO -- The Reds have penciled in Tim Adleman to take his regular turn and start Saturday's game against the Rockies. The right-hander had to leave his start Sunday against the Giants after one inning with a stiff neck.
"He still has a little bit of a crick in the neck, but because of the off-day [Monday] he will get an extra day this time through," manager Bryan Price said before Tuesday night's game against the Cubs.
"We're hoping that he'll be OK, but we'll have to monitor to make sure that we can comfortably allow him to start that game without going through what we did last start.
