One of the Cincinnati Bengals’ defensive captains is now headed elsewhere after the team cut Germaine Pratt on Monday.
Known as Playoff P, Pratt has been instrumental in many of the Bengals’ biggest wins since the 2021 season, including the game-clinching interception that ended a 31-year drought of playoff wins by the Bengals.
Pratt’s performance has regressed over the past two seasons, but he did have his best seasons when Al Golden was the linebackers coach. Golden is now back as the new defensive coordinator.
