This weekend, the Bengals were in Kansas City to interview Chiefs’ offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy for their head coach vacancy. Earlier this week, they’ve interviewed several other candidates for the position, including ex-Broncos head coach Vance Joseph.
Both candidates have pasts that you may not have known about.
Bieniemy was a running back for the Bengals from 1995 to 1998, but before that, he was a star running back at Colorado University. While there, he ran into a bit of trouble. In his freshman year, he was involved in an altercation at a bar where he was called a racial slur.
