CINCINNATI -- For six weeks, the Pittsburgh Steelers were one of the five best teams in the NFL at controlling turnovers.
With a plus-six turnover margin, they were doing a dramatically better job creating them as opposed to allowing them.
That changed Sunday in Kansas City when the Steelers lost the ball three times (two interceptions and one fumble) in a 23-13 loss. If there was any message the defeat sent the 6-0 Cincinnati Bengals ahead of this week's game in Pittsburgh, it was that they must take the turnover battle very seriously.
